ABOUT
Hi, my name is Michael. I'm a Social Network Scientist and co-founder of the Cognitive Media Lab at UC San Diego.
My research investigates online communication dynamics, political mobilization, and misinformation spread on social networking sites.
My methods use data science, survey experiments and AI approaches (e.g., large language models, machine learning) to examine human behavior in online spaces.

Feel free to explore my site for my previous work, which can be broken out into the following areas: Infodemiology & Social Listening, Online Behaviors, AI Prompt Engineering.
